Witch Tree is inspired by a certain tree that a few grew up near. It's really tall and gnarled looking, and as kids we always thought it looked like a place where a witch would live. Now there's a whole convent of witches who live there, protected by the tree itself; safe from unsavory men.

To Be Bathed In Red Light deals with dark time in frontman Micah Kittelson's life. "My relationship with my S/O was going sour and I was isolating myself a lot. Basically I set out to write a song that encapsulates that feeling of despair where you want to give up, but sitting in your self pity and bad habits feels safer than reaching out to the ones who care about you for help. It was very therapeutic for me."
