To mark the spring equinox on March 19, Fiadh is honored to release a special double cassette of Evergreen Refuge's Reflection/Resolution:

“In 2019, I digitally released “Reflection/Resolution”. At the time of its release I had this to say about it: “I wrote and recorded Reflection and Resolution during a time of emotional tumult. Change and growth tends to happen during these times. However, it is a difficult process--sometimes even painful. These pieces mark, in many ways, a turning of a new chapter for Evergreen Refuge. I am not actually entirely sure what that means yet for the future of this project. Something just tells me that this is a point of change. For now, I am letting Evergreen Refuge enter somewhat of a hibernation.”

I still feel this rings true. I am not sure if Evergreen Refuge is something I will ever return to. I won’t rule it out, as the unfolding of change has yielded strange results before. This album was almost the last thing I created and, to this day, holds a lot of intense emotions for me. Now here, 5 years since its initial release, I am really honored to have this out in physical form. I think in many ways this chapter has not completely felt closed to me because the album never really was released physically. Now I feel like this chapter can truly close.

Evergreen Refuge was an important part of my life for a decade. A decade of change, grief, beauty. I am not entirely sure who all resonates with these works, in many ways they feel outside of myself, and the whole Evergreen Refuge era of my being feels like a lifetime ago. But for those who have cared about this project, and those who continue to care, I appreciate you a lot. Thanks for listening.
