Seriously, this almost does for me as a pagan of Irish ancestry what "Zeal and Ardor" does for me as a mixed-race Black Satanist (yes, one can be both). Great music, strong cultural vibes and a strangely uplifting sound / spirit to celebrate the great and terrible archetypes that personify untamed nature... I'm in! And the music was just a bonus - - best shirt design I've seen in a LONG time (love the Ogham, too)! All hail Balor, and his all-seeing eye! Favorite track: Moytura Conquest.

Last month we released Dratna’s previous album, Fear Gorta & Tales of the Undead, which quickly sold out & introduced this Belfast-based project to many of you for the first time. On May 26, we’re excited to bring you the second full-length, Fomóraigh ✨
With mythology-based art by Sean Fitzgerald, Fomóraigh allows Dratna to shine at what he does best (symphonic, melodic black metal) while trying new approaches (more folk, varied pacing & full soundscapes). Fomóraigh brings Ireland’s past to life with intense lyrical themes that celebrate the one thing that remains unchanged: the stark, breathtaking beauty of the land itself.
Fomóraigh will premiere on No Clean Singing May 22, & 50 tapes will be available that Friday accompanied by prints of the artists’ own photographs of the Mournes 🗻
