This week marks ten years since the initial release of Paul Riedl's hanging moss - autumn journeys & reflections on cassette through his label Klangwald, & I am honored to present a limited vinyl pressing of this gorgeous album 🍃
While reaching great heights with Blood Incantation & Spectral Voice, my favorite projects of Paul’s remain Leech (more news on that to come) & Merkstave; however, lesser known material from münn, Ancestørtøøth & hanging moss are deserving of attention. hanging moss is especially dear to me as its quiet, classical compositions perfectly capture what I imagine forays through the PNW woods would be like, & we are all in dire need of quiet moments of reflection in this coming season.
Fiadh has pressed 100 opaque olive-green LPs, & Paul has a significant amount that will be on-hand for a live performance this Wednesday, which I encourage you all to attend if you can! The rest will be available on Fiadh’s bandcamp this Friday.

never been a big death metal fan but this is actually super accessible for the genre, has fun concepts, and personally i'm always a fan of albums with short tracklists and huge runtimes (for individual songs) Great time, good jumping on point for newbies too. alienasu

An outstanding Extreme doom death album, in the best tradition. The funerary atmosphere reminds of Evoken ('Centuries of ooze" bears striking similarities, for my delight). It is overall sharp, dark, hypnotic and unrelenting. One of those rare convincing new bands that hold proud the legacy of the biggest names. Bertrand Marchal
